This was my first chance to get out and meet some District 1 constituents, and I had a great time. I also received my first campaign contribution — twenty $1 bills from a lovely woman named Mary, it melted my heart a little. Did I endorse everything about the event? Of course not — talking to everyone across the political spectrum is the core of my campaign.
I’ll write more about my experience at some point (in particular about the car parked behind my booth, interesting), but need to focus on a ton of other content first.
I will share my favorite sign of the day, though. I didn’t get a chance to talk to this woman, so really not entirely clear about her opinion of President Trump, but I thought the sign was funny and gentle.
