Tim Kelly and I are the two non-partisan candidates in this race. We are running distinct campaigns as distinct individuals. Neither of us is specifically endorsing the other’s campaign or approach, but we do have at least two things in common:
- We like the idea of a non-partisan representing our district
- We’re good at math
We can’t yet know who will connect better with the district, but we do know that if we split the “non-partisan vote” in the primary, it will be nearly impossible for either of us to make it into the top two. Game over.
We’ve made a pact to both campaign hard, see where it goes, and in May look to see who has the better shot. The other will throw all their support to the more likely candidate. They will also get an automatic spot on the Advisory Council, representing the non-partisan slice of the district.
