I plan to (imagine I might) have some sort of blog, in the original sense of a “web log” of things for which time of posting is of primary interest.
This was just an initial “post” to see how it all looks and behaves in wordpress.
I moved to the Kadence theme, which looks pretty cool in terms of functionality, but man, this stuff is complicated.

Been using grok to sort things out, very helpful and a lot simpler than poring over reams of documents. This Word Press ecosystem is truly huge, with thousands of plugins, endless features interacting in various odd ways. Definitely an AI win to cut through a lot of it. So far so good.
I’ve been collecting “material” for years (uh, decades), and “set up” this wordpress site a few years ago, but only just now adding structure to allow me to add actual content with a minimum of grief and stress.
One part of it will most likely be to use this blog to summarize updates to the site over time, for anyone interested in “what’s new”. If I can figure out how to title the blog, that’s what I’ll call it…
