I’m not strongly opposed to legislative term limits, but I don’t believe they’re the best approach. I prefer term limits by choice — representatives choosing to step aside, and voters valuing reasonable turnover in Congress.
My personal choice is simple: One term is plenty. Whether I win or lose, I will not run again in 2028 or later.
I’ll have a lot more to say about this as the campaign proceeds.
