Of the 525,730 registered voters in our district, about 350,000 won’t be voting in the primary. That’s about two thirds who feel that the whole thing is so rigged and pointless that it’s not worth even one minute.
Among the 156,857 who are neither Democrat nor Republican it’s even worse — four fifths won’t be voting.
I understand the feeling, I’ve been there myself. However…
If you’re unhappy with the state of politics in America today,
it’s well worth your time to vote for me in District 1.
It will literally just take a minute!
Something like this:
- 12 seconds: get your ballot and envelope, and a pen
- 10 more: find Richard Minner on the list of Congressional candidates (I’m only in one race)
- 7: fill in the oval
- 12: tear off the ballot stub and put the ballot in the envelope
- 8: sign and seal the envelope
- 11: mail it
60 seconds, all done.
And remember: It’s more than ok to vote on just one race!
